It depends on where you live, but for the most part their pay scale is not much above minimum wage. You can, however get in to management fairly quickly. But, even in what they consider management, the pay is about $8-9 an hour.

When you appear over qualified, few places will bother. They can get younger, cheaper and not worry about replacing you as soon as the work situation gets better. If you are in good health you should look into health care or caring for preschool or the elderly. Especialy if you might speak more than one language. Forget what you have done. Work toward what you can do now. You say you are willing to take minimum wage and hope to work up in time. Show up looking like you can start work now. Go clean neat and simply dressed. Leave jewelry at home. Carry a simple bage with a change of shoes. Offer referances. Find out who does the hiring. Check back if you are interested in working for a company.

They don't pay enough ,just enough to eat sleep n drink.
