So my worst enemy just got a job working at the same business I'm employed at! I know I have to deal with her because I love my job. but I also know she took the job to piss me off! We don't work directly together all the time, but we will be on the same committees and need to communicate about some things. I can't even stand being in the same room with her. Is it stil professional if i try to limit our contact strictly to email and/or notes? And is it appropriate to ask why she took the job considering the bad situation between us?

About 12 -14 weeks ago, lottery officals stopped using the random ball selector and started to use THEIR computers to select the winning numbers. Since that time, if you check past winning tickets for the last year, you will find the $2 to $20 winners have increased, but the larger payouts have been reduced around 30%.
Information leaked that out that only .45 cents of EVERY dollar is applied to the lottery payouts and .55 cents is for administerative costs. Lottery officals have stated, "If you don't like it, don't play". Wow. Have we created a monster or what?

Does this bother anyone else, or are we so used to being screwed we are numb to the financial rape the working class sustains by the city and state governments?

The judgement was a repo I got when I retired because of illness. They got that car ,sold it , and sued me for the difference. I can't afford to pay them. I have another car , my only car, that will be paid off in Dec. 2007. Can they take that?

The Endowment Policy is three policies that add up to a surrender value just over the value of the mortgage. The Policies will mature in 4, 5, 6 years. There are warnings against each of the polies - that they may not pay enough to cover the mortgage value at maturity, but the larger and older of the three policies has been looking better over the last two years, and, if left to maturity, will be just enough to pay-off the mortgage.
Could it be "cash in the hand is better than a promise of a brighter future?".

is fair to both parties, what each should pay, what should come out of a common fund, etc. When we were young and did not have a pot to pee in, this sort of thing was not a problem. But, in later life it can be a problem.

I am very interested in renting a condo in Denver. The problem is that the owner really just wants to sell it, but has been unable to find a buyer. If I were to rent the condo, could he sell it out from under me at any time? Should I be looking for something in the lease regarding this?

I work for a family owned professional photography business have worked here for 12 yrs.In this time I have had to listen to the parents say"out loud"that they should fire everyone and cut their clients in half. Now, the son, who use to be an employee and hated it when his parents would say that is now pretty much doing the same thing. They always take one person out of the group and put them on a pedistal, and praise them to no end. They leave the other employees out, even thought they are working harder and have as much talent as the one they only praise. If they have a problem with an employee, they will talk about them behind their back, to others, but not confront the one with whatever problem they may be having with them. I'm tired of it.I thought it would change and it hasn't. Should I try to bring it up to them.Tell them my/our grievances or should I just go look for another position elsewhere? I'm sure someone else has been through this kind of crap before.

What would be THE best business idea, what kind of store, type of products, suppliers, etc.
