Well you're going to need a few monthes rent, first month, last month and secuirty, moving expenses and depending on what you have already furniture, household appliances, cleaning supplies and everything else.

There are a bunch of hidden costs. The rent itself, any deposit there, plus phone, cable and utilities ( deposits at all those places if it is not furnished); if you have to pay someone to move you, too. Of course, there is the cost of furnishing it, furniture, dishes, cookware, towels, sheets, food, toiletries, etc. The list can go on and on. Good Luck! It could be $1500 to $2000 or more depending on the cost of the flat itself.

The first month's rent plus a damage deposit. Damage deposits are typically equal to one month's rent though that is negotiable.
