I like GLW right now. A great company that's still recovering from the fiber bust, and is currently enjoying a tremendous ride on glass for LCD displays. The speculators were shook out a few months ago, it was a great buy at $18 and I started buying out-of-money calls ($20, $22.50) for November on them. I sold the $20's (at a very hefty profit!) but still am holding the $22.50's.

If you're a big options player, you might actually want to consider a straddle position going into Wednesday on them. While I'm still bullish (and I think $22.50 is a discount for the potential this company has), there is an earnings guidance announcement scheduled for Wednesday this week (9/6/06), with other (non-LCD) products on the agenda to be spoken about (like their substrates for diesel filters). My hunch is it's some great news, but one thing seems to be sure - that this thing is going one way or the other in a hurry (very high volatility).

Also may want to consider TTM. Vehicle ownership in India is still extremely low (< 5% I believe?), and that company is producing some very cheap cars and at the same time expanding a net of dealerships across India.

Good luck.
