If you are of legal age and hold a valid state i.d. or driver's license and do not want to open a checking or savings account, there a check cashing places that charge a fee for cashing your check, depending on the type of check. As long as you have some type of i.d. you can cash a check.

There's no age limit to cashing a check, however for most places you do need to have at least a savings account with the bank that you cash it at. If you don't have a picture ID, bring your parent or guardian with you to be on the safe side.

You mean how old you have to be? If you're old enough to earn money, you should be able to cash a check.

As long as you have a government issued id, then I don't see any problem with it.

How do you have to be?

Sober, and cleanly dressed. No wait, that's the bank employees.
