So T-Mobile screwed me over with my contract and now I supposably owe them 400 bux. I tried to explain to them what happened and how the Sales Rep at the store screwed me. (I believe they screwed me but they are saying it was my fault) So I called up T-Mobile's customer service managers and it was like they didnt even give 2 craps or want to listen to me. So to make a long story short, it went into collections. So T-Mob said "We cant do anything with your account any more. You have to take it up with the collection agency" They dont know ish about what happened to me and how I got screwed by the Store.
Am I really screwed? Do I just not pay it and let it go on my credit?

Describe a scenario where you feel/felt your boss at work was completely irrational or handled a situation inappropriately. How did this affect your work performance/ willingness to be there?

*My boss, often, sweeps problems or issues under the rug, rather than handles it then and there...causing problems to continue as always, which results in more frequent walk-outs or angry employees.. very unprofessional.

I am presently working at a 55Billion dollar Wealth Management company in Toronto
I work on systems such as Croesus / Axys / IBM AS400 and ADP Dataphile.
I do system maintenance, account/position reconciliation, and ROR reporting support for
The company’s investment advisors.

My question pertains to my career path.
My skills and experience are very vast.
I have worked on the Trading Floor, Derivatives Desk, in the IT department for Financial companies.
I have some experience in Market research.
I have a flair for Project management and Management in general.
I have the CSC & CPH, and a Finance degree. I’ve reviewed the CFA I material and
Aptitude wise I find the first level a cake walk, I mean I can take the exam tomorrow
With just my present knowledge & experience.
For Level II & III I will have to put in about 3-6 months each studying.

I am wondering on the path I should take here on.

My options are (I think, please suggest more)
Becoming an Investment Advisor (I understand, can interpret and love the Markets, but I hate sales)
I can do a CFA but what next??
I can get into project management, but in what kind of a role and working on what?
Developing systems, developing products? Confused here.

Im 25 so I have time on my side, I want to get into the 85-100K range in the next 2-3 years
What’s hot??
Please guide.

Recently, a lot of my close friends whose parents owned businesses have emigrated to the USA and continue to live there after their further studies. Their parents have successful medium sized businesses employing 100 over people, but they prefer to be an employee in the USA - Does it pay more for an MBA? One guy told me he could earn 1 million USD as an investment banker after graduating with an MBA. My question is, should I follow their lead, get an MBA and then pursue a full-time career, or join my dad's logistics and trucking business which employs 100 people and makes around 1 million USD in profit? I am really tempted to explore the USA, yet dont know whether it is a wise choice given my situation and I am seeking insight.

This morning, I've heard on the news that the government want to kick the income tax in replace of the fair tax. This tax would make many pay checks higher, but it will also make the sales higher as well. I always like the income tax because it give me money I really need every year, but I'm not sure the fair tax would give the similar benifict. Would it be fair to pass the fair tax if it would mean the lower income people would have the short end of the stick?

I have gone through two boxes of tissue paper for my nose, I haven't been able to sleep for 48 hours, and I feel more miserable than I remember feeling in a long time. I only work with a few people and I am afraid of making everyone in the office sick. I just help out for a few hours everyday, and if everyone in the office got sick, the whole place would come to a standstill. However, I have a two-month period to prove my worthiness to this employer for a raise and a permanent position, and I would like to not miss any days during that time. What do I do?
Also: Another employee that covers shifts for me anyhow will be there, but I don't want it to seem like I plan on having her work for me all the time.

When I started driving, regular unleaded gas was about a dollar a gallon, super was 10 cents more at $1.10/gallon, and premium was 10 cents more than that at $1.20/gallon.

11 years later, regular unleaded is $3.29 a gallon, but super is still only 10 cents more ($3.39) and premium is still only 10 cents more than that ($3.49).

Why is it that although gasoline prices have risen over 200%, it's still only 10 cents more to upgrade to a higher octane?

I can't imagine that the gasoline companies would charge TOO LITTLE for their super and premium gasolines, so that leads me to wonder if they're charging TOO MUCH for regular grade in order to keep the "standard" 10 cents difference.

Can anyone explain this?

My credit is not that great and I need some help financially, getting my small business off the ground. $1500 max, not much just enough for start up costs, and day to day living while I am building clients. I am starting my own Home Cleaning and Organizing business, something that seems very simple but I am extremely good at what I do. Iam just stuck in a hole financially and I can't seem to get out.
