I want to purchase a house later this year or beginning of next year. My credit score will probably be around 580 by then. How much do you think I would pay a month for at least a 80,000 house? Help?

I was thinking about money the other day (well..... I was actually thinking about my lack of it!) and I was wondering where the term 'grand' comes from - as in £1000. Does anyone know? I thought that maybe if I know where it originates then I might be able to get one!!

Ok I am updating my resume to try to find another receptionist position somewhere (that pays more!) & for the Objective I am completely clueless on what I should write there that sounds professional enough. I want to include something about me being a very easy-going person who gets along w/ just about everyone & that I am willing to learn anything. Anyone have any suggestions on something I could insert?

When something goes to a collection agency, if the agency successfully collects from a person, about how long does it take? I know that collection agencies fail to collect on many of the items sent its way, but I am curious about how long it takes when it is successful. Other statistics regarding collection agency efforts are welcome. Reference, either print or online, is 100% needed.

Any ideas? I thought of maybe building a storage building but I doubt that will generate a lot of income. And there are already too many car washes so adding another in my area is out of the question.

mr.williams didn't feel he could afford a cafeteria, but the unused storage room would be a great lounge for the employees. The company had just completed a profitable year and mr.williams decided to give his employees a lounge.
The next week he had the storage room painted and new lighting in stalled and his wife bought several easy chairs, couches and three bridges table and chair sets. In addition,mr williams bought a pool table and a ping-pong table from a local sporting good store.
On the following monday mr williams announced the establishment of the employee lounge and with great gesture.he was quite surprise by the total silence that greeted his announcement.1 employee remarked 'if he made so much money, why he didnt give us a bonus?' followed by a few murmuring of 'yes' then the employees went back to work.
Since the lounge hes been established no one used it.2 weeks later, the furnirure was removed and it reverted to storage room status.

I saw a posting online looking for property locators around the country. The posting said that a property locator would earn between $600 and $4000 per property located for this company. Is this legitimate? Do companies actually hire "freelance" property locators like this?

Thank you.

I was denied life insurance due to a false positive urine test. Initially my agent thought I could pay for a second test myself, but the underwriter refused. What can I do?

Why is someone who questions authourity if they are in the right seen as dangerous?

Example Dell computers...

They sell based on a reputation or reliability

You should be employed as you know your stuff or as a trainee learning your stuff.

What use is it if the boss won't listen to you as considers you beneath them?

Its like a fool boss who refuses to listen to the cleaner saying not to mix industrial bleach and an acid based cleaner resutling in possible death from chlorine gas releasing.

Or how about the hundreds killed say when a boat gets sent out to see despite the engineer saying its not safe yet?

Like a disaster is good for business.

or how about Dell. If the techs & geeky wizz kids are not taken seriouly & the bosses expect yes men then you can get things like laptops catching fire which costs millions.

So then why not always employ those who point out faults & would complain about what was wrong with their last company providing they backed it up.

I loved that Rover worker used to take sleeping bags to their nightshifts.

Whatever happened to just simply advertising a product? Like hello...this is what we are selling, this is what our product does, please try it. Where did all this flashy, "in your face" advertising come from and why must people seem ignorant and clueless in TV adds???
