I find having a float of around $100, you are always going to get someone that has a large note and wants a $2 item! Make sure you have plenty of coins and smaller notes, if you dont feel comfortable being in the yard wit that much money just put half of it somewhere safe in the house.
Rember have fun!

Fifty to Seventy-Five dollars 20-30 ones and the rest in fives. IF you are using quarters ($10 roll)-get two rolls, Nichols ($2 roll)-get one roll, I would gather the loose change around your house and put in Ziploc in a bag in case you need it.
We split the money into "fanny packs" and we carried them on us, since we didn't inventory the items... just wanted them gone.
Good luck. I hate these things- yet its nice to make some money back on the items and I always schedule a Charity pickup the next day and when I bag it up that night after the sale, I take it immediately to the charity box as part the "sale" so that I don't have it sit in my garage for years anymore.

At least $5 in change and probably $20-30 in various bills for making change. I would have $5's and $1's. Good luck I hope you sell all your stuff so you don't have to drag it back inside that sucks. Otherwise put free, and watch people load it up.

You shouldn't need any more than 20 to 30 dollars, but make sure it's all small, especially change.
