How young were you when you did? What gave you the courage to do so? Did you have doubts? I'm 37 without a college degree, and I really hate my job. I'm really burned out on customer service, I'm to the point of to tell everyone one of the people I help, "Kiss my @ss, and I don't care who you snitch to!" Sorry, but it's very early Monday morning and I have to go back to a job which I really loathe. Did anyone here change careers without a college degree? What did you do? How did you do it? I feel like I'm too old to change careers, but for my own mental health, I have to find other employment.

Why is a suit seen as smart and professional, neat trainers, neat combats & a short sleve shirt not?

Firstly in practical terms

Suits are useless in keeping you warm, cool, comfortable, allowing freedom of movement and agility.

The shoes risk injured ankles with no support or bounce and dangerously slippery no grip soles.

They are overly expensive and easily damaged, hard to wash requiring time and money in dry cleners.

Ties were invented to get in the way, land in food and machinery.

What reason have they to be seen as smart compared with other neat, ironed, clean clothes? let alone whats professional about them... Any tramp with no brains can be cleaned up and put in one.

Short sleeves are more practical and comfortable regulating bio temperature better. Therefore making you more productive.

Likewise combats are looser and have many leg pockets for items without getting in the way like a suit jacket making you too hot.

Easy to clean cutting costs,

I have been asked to start a new divinsion of an online direct marketing company. Although this is a high profile positions the base salary is way under what someone would normaly get at an exisitng company. Essentialy building the database up and re-marketing this data. I have been offered 10 percent net revenue of this division, but I have to cover all costs with this 10 percent. .

If this division does 5 million in revenue, the division gets $500K to cover Salaries/Commissions, Technology, Misc.

I feel this is not a great deal? Am I wrong here?

My Bank of America credit card is up for renewal in a few months. I went bankrupt just over a year ago. I did not include this credit card in my bankruptcy (0.00 balance). I have never been late in 6 years and haven't gone over my limit in 2 years. I always pay off my balance and therefore haven't accrued interest in 24 months. I have zero delinquencies on my credit report. Will Bank of America decline my renewal with a FICO score of 650-680? If so, should I cancel my card as opposed to Bank of America revoking it?
