Companies with call centres abroad are just interested in saving money and boosting prfits. It has nothing to do with customer satisfaction and retention.

In a word...NO. They do probably save money on call centers and hopefully reinvest it back into other areas of the business where customer satisfaction was previously low - so not sure about the overall effect, but as far as call center contact goes - it seems a .surefire way to lose customers

No, I don't believe that they have reached their objective, firstly you get to speak to someone who apparently has no reasonable understanding of what you are asking.

And also they say they are saving money by outsourcing, why doesn't it come back to the customer, Gas and Electric have just gone up again, Bank Rates are going up, BT always high.

Who are you kidding? Their objective is to reduce costs and increase the bottom line so the executive officers can get their big bonuses. Customer satisfaction has nothing to do with it.
