I got a tattoo of a sun 8 days ago...it's mainly a dark red....about two days after i got it, i got this nasty thick scab over it and the third day I started using cocoa butter on it. The scab peeled off and the red is now a bright but faded kind of redish pink color and it's really sore... What happening? What can i do for it?

I'm thinking about getting a pomegranate tattoo, but I'm afraid it will look like a blob in a couple of years. Is red, and pink a lasting color for a tattoo? Or should I think about getting something different?

I just got the cartilage of both my ears pierced 4 days ago. I got my left cartilage pierced up top and the right one in the middle sort of. The day I got them done were sore as expected. The third day my middle right cartilage became red and sore and it looked sorta swollen. The swelling went down throughout the day, but the fourth day it was once again red and swollen and slightly throbbing. I have been washing them with dial soap 2-3 times a day. I don't think that it is swollen since the piercing doesn't have any discolored discharge. But how do I get rid of the soreness, redness, and swelling? Thanks

It doesn't seem to be infected at all ... I'm just a little worried about the way it's healing. It moves thru my lip pretty easily and barely crusts over much anymore, but the tissue on the inside seems like it keeps building up, although some days it looks like it's less than others. Anyone know if it's okay? or too much tissue or what??

My best friend is getting married this Saturday and I wanted to tan a few times before the wedding. After 3 tans I am pretty dark but I put it off until the last minute so I would have to tan the next 3 days in a row to get the 3 tans in. Is this safe or should I just tan twice so I can skip a day? This sounds like an insanely vain question but it is something that has bothered me my whole life, and lately I have been considering it since I would really like to go into acting. Yes, my nose makes me unique but I think I would be much more symmetrical with a smaller nose. Generally it helps to have third party opinions, friends and family will be more charitable and your own opinion tends to be less charitable. So what do you guys think?

I'm only 17 years old. I'll be 18 in July, but I really don't want to wait any longer to get my belly button pierced. i originally had a 18G in my ears and i put a 14G and then12G all in the same day. I know this is really bad for you and now my ear is infected. Do i leave the 12G in or should i put a smaller gage or just take it out entirely???

and also my other ear feels like i have a lot of pressure in it (like im under water)...does this have anything to do with my earlobes, or is it just a coincidence that i happen to be sick too?

the lady who pierced my ears didnt say anything about me not being able to change my tragus' & cartlidge piercing rings, i want to put in studs. but when i had my nose pierced and my tongue she told me NOT TO CHANGE THEM FOR 2 WEEKS.
