you shouldnt. it should be professionally done. if you have to come on yahoo answers to ask us, that means you dont know what you are doing, and someone might give you false info. dont do it. it could get infected, if anyones parents find out you were involved they could be VERY angry at you. just find a place that does it professionally and have it done that way. i know so many people who have friends do their peircings for them and it has never turned out well dispite all the precautions they took. im not against peircings, i have a few of my own, but dont do it yourself.

Wow. If you don't know and have to ask, that's a pretty good sign that you shouldn't be doing this at all. Since you don't seem to know where to begin on this, you won't know what to do once the piercing is done and I don't think either of you know how to take care of a piercing. Its not quite as easy as it seems.
As a friend, if you want to willingly injure someone you love, knock yourself out. But a GOOD friend would inform them that this is not a smart choice and that he/she should save her money, wait until they are old enough and have a PROFESSIONAL pierce them.
I suggest you two don't do this, but that's just sound advise and common sense from me, a professional piercer.

Wow I hate to be the first to answer..... 1rst your not a professional are you? I'm going to guess not of course. Get some oral-jel or such and put that on the spot till her lip is numb. Then Don't use a needle get a ring she will wear even if its dull. When her lip is numb clean the spot thoroughly The lip is thin skin not tough so pull tight and stick it through if you don't it will bleed mega but I always advise going to a profesional especially if you live with rents. I did my 3rd holes in the ear and 2 on my friends.

lol! I did my cousins labrae with a galvanized six penny nail!!
Fourtunately he hasn't had any medical problems such as infections etc. ... and he's been sporting a nice big chrome stud for almost seven years now.
Use alcohol or listerine to kill the germs and as far as numbing, ice is about all that's available for a home job, and yes, pull it all the way through from front(outside mouth) to back(inside mouth), and IMMEDIATELY insert the jewelry from the same direction you started from. Good Luck!
P.S.------------ This really, really, really should be done by a professional!! It's not that expensive.

if you were a really good friend you would go with her to a professional place and make sure that she doesn't try to do it at home. when you're working with piercings, you are essentially creating a wound so it is sooo important that you get it done right by someone who has taken classes on how to do it correctly. you really don't want her to get an infection, or worse a deformity on her face because you were trying to help but didn't know how to do it right.

wait untill she says it truly is effective, in case you stay lower than her living house and he or she will pay on your food and each little thing and seems when you, it truly is her call no longer yours. coach some genuine responsibility, get a activity or something or supply her the genuine causes you want it accomplished. your mom being religious has no longer something to do with her no longer permitting you to get a piercing if she lets your sisters have theirs accomplished.. study a thanks to spell too or get reliable grades, it may help coach some responsibility..

no no no. don't pierce her lip. ESPECIALLY since you have no idea how. let a pro do it. best best is to go to a piercing parlor, one that is very clean and sterile. i got mine done about a month ago, and it was about $50. prices vary from place to place.
whatever you do, don't pierce it for her. it could become infected, etc etc.
