I live in illinois, and u have to have a person over the age of 18 to consent. Most people that are under that but don't want there parents to know, usually find a sister or somebody like that to sign for them. sorry

You have to be 18 in the United States.
Any place that will pierce you before you're 18 doesn't follow the law, and they're probably shady about some of their practices. A good piercer who's worried about their repuation won't even touch someone who wants to be pierced until after their 18th birthday.
You can go to Canada, I went up there with a few friends who wanted piercings two years ago when we were all still 16. (I used to live in Michigan.) Though, it's really not even that far away. Couple months isn't too long to wait to be healthy and have a piercing done right.
Think of it this way: If you get it done now, before you're 18, and the piercer isn't as good of a piercer as they let on, something could go wrong. (be it placement, or infection.) And you'd end up having to let the piecing close completely and get it redone 6months to a year after you took it out. (I had to do that with my belly button the first time. But my mother signed for me to get it done. I just got stuck with a piercer who honestly had no idea what they were doing.)

you have to be 18 to be pierced without parental consent in every state.
my 18th birthday is this coming july too, and i know how you feel. i have so many piercings planned and im so anxious to be able to get them. i know the wait seems really long, but hopefully it'll be here before we know it?

Usually places willing to break the law are probably breaking other practices too. They probably don't use clean equipment, proper tools and procedures.
You can bet that any place shady enough to break the law is going to give you a shady piercing and maybe even a disease.
I urge you to wait, it won't kill you.

You could go to a really bad part of town to get it done in the city. But I really wouldn't suggest it. You can get a really bad infection if they have dirty stuff. Just wait.

i would just keep trying to forge it by going to different shops. eventually you'll probably find one that will do it for you. either that or ask around at school and see if you can get a fake id
