It doesn't seem to be infected at all ... I'm just a little worried about the way it's healing. It moves thru my lip pretty easily and barely crusts over much anymore, but the tissue on the inside seems like it keeps building up, although some days it looks like it's less than others. Anyone know if it's okay? or too much tissue or what??

Its good that it doesn't crust up and that you can move the jewelry. That is a sign that the piercing has healed up rather well. As far as this tissue buildup, I'm not quite sure because I cannot see the area.

Depending on color, pain, size and other detail of this bump it could be a number of things. And it might even be nothing to worry about at all. Again, I cannot see the area to tell you for sure.

Check out the following links and see if any of that applies, if not I suggest you have a reputable piercer look at the area to give you better advice.

I got my lip done about a month ago and it no longer crusts over or anything, but i have a slight flap of skin that seems to be growing over the back of the stud. I mainly just try to move it as much as possible to avoid anything permanent, but be careful of keloids, your body might be telling you to take it out, make sure you listen to your body!

i just got mine done last week. have you been rinsing with antiseptic mouthwash and brushing your teeth? that actually helps out alot. put bacitracin on it or any ointment on it. just keep taking care of it. but if you have anymore problems or concerns, i would definetly go to the shop to check and see whats goin on.

that sucks. Maybe you should think about what you're doing before you get another piercing.
