I want to get my hairstyle to something similar to japanese styles right now, spiky, bleached, etc., however, the problem is that my hair is VERY curly. Not wavy, curly. Right now i'm wearing it as a afro, but have gone and every other week got it done as braids.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips/solutions to changing hard-to-pick-out curly hair to the japanese styles of today.

Examples:

Guy on the right, Higuchi- his hair is more or less what i'm talking about

Oh, I am african-american and male, to just say.

I feel gross if I don't wash and blow dry my hair every single day. In the Spring and Summertime, I will sometimes go without blowdrying but I HAVE to at least shampoo. Would it be better to just use conditioner every other day?

am slightly overweight, I am not on a birth control pill, I never ever have blow dried my hair or used any products beside shampoo and conditioner (since 13 years I've been using Pantene pro-V for thin hair) My hair is falling out a lot, this had never before happen! I did not eat any kind of meat since 1997, but I try to eat fish once a week.
The scary part is that I have realized that I have hair growth on my back, just like a man. The hair on my back is thick and black and grows in singles all over my upper back.
I don't have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) or problems with my thyroids. My next appointment with an endocrinologist is in March; I am going to lose all my hair by then. Did anyone had this problem, please help...
I am 33 years old.

My perm is over a year old and has really grown out. It looks skanky. I don't know if I should straighten or re-perm.

I relaxed my hair about 3 wks. ago and i need another touch-up I don't want to do the touch-up yet but the thing is i've heard of the Olive Oil Relaxer and I think that this is the relaxer I'm going to stick with I just need to know will it be o.k. for me to go ahead and put the ralaxer in since this is going to be my monthly relaxer for now on. Do you think it'll cause damages?

ive always dreamed of dark beautiful ringlet curls or waves flowing with tons of volume and no frizz, but sadly i was cursed with straightish wavy hair:(

i want to try a curling iron that creates natural waves and that damages my hair to the least amount, so i would really appreciate your help! id prefer a ceramic one that gives good shine:)
ive also thought about perming my hair curly, so if you could give me the pros and cons that would be really nice too!
thanx!:P

I'm thinking of getting front and under layer highlights (if that's what it's called). I want one similar to MTV's VJ Suchin Pak when she had highlights only in the front. If I were to go to a salon, what would I ask for? Is it called partial frontal hightlights? Please help.

I'm 14, and I have black hair a few inches past my shoulders. I've always either had my hair in a ponytail, or left it down, but would definitely like to try something new. Manageable is best; I'll only have about 5 minutes each morning for hair. Are there any clips/bands/parts you like to use on your hair that makes plain hair, not so plain? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I'm 24 years old and I'm already getting gray hairs. My hair is almost black (naturally) and I have olive skin and dark brown eyes. Do you think I should just let the grays grow in or should I dye it?Do you think somebody my age would look rediculous with grays?

(A part of me wants to see how I would look with salt-and-pepper hair)

With weave and without braiding it first (i've tried that and to me it looks ugly) or do you have a website that explains how to do twists without purchasing a video.
