Well, if you want to complement the yellow in your skin tone, caramel or honey highlights would look great. As you have longer hair, I would caution you that you will need more than one box. I have medium shoulder length hair and it takes 2 boxes to cover it. Good Luck. You might want to check the back of the boxes of hair dye at the store for more ideas. They will sometimes suggest other colors than the one on the box for similar hair shades.

Well assuming that your hair is a browny color ( avatar).
Then i would think that you may look great with caramel/light brown or honey highlights, As you seem to have a fairly warm skin tone and the highlights would really accentuate that.

Be careful with long hair, either of these processes causes damage. Damage is possibly your worst enemy with long hair. If you don't want to deal with permanent damage, don't do anything. If you want to try a temporary new look, try a 28 day rinse- it will still dry your hair out, but it will let you see if you like a certain color before going permanent. I think streaks and highlights are sort of out of style, but anything goes if it makes you happier. Avoid light blond highlights -- mine looked gray. I would try somoething with auburn or coper tones to highlight if I wanted a change. GOOD LUCK with your attempts.

What ever you do, I think you should get highlights put in at a salon. Since your eyes change color, this will give you more variety in your hair color too!
Best of luck!

I would get some soft highlights and lowlights. I think it's really best to have it done in a salon. You'll look fabulous!
