am slightly overweight, I am not on a birth control pill, I never ever have blow dried my hair or used any products beside shampoo and conditioner (since 13 years I've been using Pantene pro-V for thin hair) My hair is falling out a lot, this had never before happen! I did not eat any kind of meat since 1997, but I try to eat fish once a week.
The scary part is that I have realized that I have hair growth on my back, just like a man. The hair on my back is thick and black and grows in singles all over my upper back.
I don't have PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) or problems with my thyroids. My next appointment with an endocrinologist is in March; I am going to lose all my hair by then. Did anyone had this problem, please help...
I am 33 years old.

An endocrinologist is a good idea. I'd also strongly consider seeing a dermatologist.
My first wife had alopecia areata which is just a fancy term for pattern baldness. She received steroid injections in the scalp which helped immensely after a few months.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much you can do before seeing a doctor. The indication that you have hair growth on your back while losing scalp hair suggests to me that you have a hormone imbalance.
All women have a natural amount of male hormones and it's the same for men. It just sounds like something is out of whack regarding your testosterone(?) level being too high or maybe your estrogen/progesterone levels being too low.
I have a good feeling that your endocrinologist will be able to fix you up without much trouble.
I'm sorry you will have to go through the emotional pain of losing your hair but just remember, God recognizes you anyway. :)
God Bless and my prayers are with you.

I seriously think you should get into to see a endocrinologist way before March. See one ASAP. It really does sound like a hormone imbalance. I know you are going to have to get to the root of the problem, but I'm sure that you want to do somehting about the hair on your back and the hair on your head.(Sorry if anything I write doesn't sound right,I'm not sure how tro word this.I know this is very serious and I really feel for you.) As for the hair on your back you can wax it off or use Veet or Nair. You didn't say how thin your hair is. Can you see scalp? Maybe a shorter hair cut will make it look thicker. I hope it doesn't come down to this, but if you have to get a wig I know there is some really nice wigs out there that look real and not wiggy or fake. I hope you find out what's going on real soon so that you won't have this problem anymore. God bless and take care. PS. I just remembered something. Biotin is good for hair growth. You might want to ask your dr. before taking anything.

Your problem sounds to be hereditary, If so there is very little you can do to stop it. There are products on the market that help a little, and I do stress a little. If you got the money surgery is your best option. Also your abstinence of red meat may have left you with a protein deficiency that sparked off a rise of testosterone in your system. Thus -hair loss on your head, and growth on your back.

The first thing you have to do is to stop worrying about your hair falling out. Just the stress of worrying could make matters worse. I know it's not easy, but try.
You could have a hormone imbalance. That's what I think of when I read about the hair on your back. Have you had them checked lately. Perhaps that's all it is.
Good luck, and please try to stop worrying. If your really worried about loosing all of your hair, try calling your doctor and asking for a much earlier appointment. Explain your concerns to them.

I'm not sure but maybe you have alopecia. In most cases of Alopecia, hair falls out in small, round patches. My cousin has it, her hair fell out and it looked like a mess. She just shaved her head, in time it grew back, but in some cases it doesn't. Alopecia is sometimes caused by stress. I am not saying you have it, but its a possibility. (don't shave your head like my cousin) much luck to you
