Skin Problem : Whiteheads *********************************** These are tiny, white raised spots and are caused by the accumulation of hardened sebum or oil in the pores of the skin when a sebum blocks a hair follicle deeper in the skin. Treatment of Whiteheads **************************** Do not remove them forcibly. Drink plenty of water and fresh fruits and fruit juices. Mix beauty grains (commercially available, can be made by mixing almond meal - powdered almonds and honey) and skin tonic (any commercially available acid-free and alcohol-free skin tonic) and rub regularly on the affected areas to dislodge them. Skin Problem : Blackheads ********************************* Blackheads are not dirt and cannot be washed away. A blackhead results when dead skin cells and sebum block a hair follicle near the surface of the skin. Blackhead causes the oily skin pores to be enlarged and the texture becomes coarse and rough. When a pore is fully blocked, a pimple can result. Blackheads cause acne. Treatment of Blackheads Do not remove them forcibly. Drink plenty of water and fresh fruits and fruit juices. Keep the skin clean by washing it with plain water. Wash the face with a medicated soap using warm water. Consult a doctor. Home Remedy for Blackheads ************************************* You can buy some green tea (very good to drink as it’s full on anti-oxidants). After drinking the tea open up the tea bag and use the contents as a face scrub. It’s less abrasive than commercial scrubs and, therefore, less likely to stimulate oil production which could exacerbate your blackhead problem. Use it twice a week as too much scrubbing is likely to irritate your skin. Afterwards use jojoba oil as a moisturizer. This oil closely matches to the skins own natural oil, sebum – won't clog up your pores and will leave your skin super soft. You can buy it from any health food shop and it’s very cheap. i hope it will be useful for u Soniya Jaraika

Sqeeze them. You can also buy those strips and use that. Just wet and place them there and then rip it off once it's dried. You can't get rid of all of your blackheads (some are on the sides of your cheeks and other hard to see areas) so you might want to get someone to do it for you like a loved one or parent. Good luck!

THIS IS WHAT WORKS FOR ME:
1) I steam my face to open up my pores
2) i use dove soap on my face i let it rest for 1 minute
3) when it is almost dry i take a toothbrush (i have a seperate tooth brush for this) and move it around in circular motions this will get the blackheads out if repeated 3 times daily. if u want you can also add a little purell (hand sanitizer) to clean out bacteria. it will sting but it works!!
4) after washing my face one more time i splash it with cold water to close my pores.
then you're good to go =]

Well as a cosmetologist the best way to get rid of blackheads or should i say the safest way is to steam your face, then scrub and while skin is still moist, wear latex gloves and covering fingers with cotton gently press out comedones which are the same as blackheads.never squeeze with bare fingers or nails as scarring can occur.

i dont trust those gadgets you see on infomercials so i wouldnt go with that unless you want to spend the money on it, but what i do is, i use clean and clear blackhead scrub, once a day in the shower with really warm water, followed by clean and clear daily face wash, and once a week wash your face and put a hot compress on it to open up pores, and use a biore strip. those work really well and its cheap.

Right after you get out of a warm shower, you kind-of have to poke and prod at them. If you have blackheads in your ear, poke and prod with a bobby pin.
