Is baby shapmoo better for your hair than regular shampoo, because it is gentler? Does it make it softer?

i have hair that goes a little above my lower back. i want to cut it to the middle of my back. i was thinking of getting layers, but since i have straight hair i'm not sure how it would turn out. i like to let my hair air dry and i don't like to have to fuss with it for more than 20 minutes. i wasn't sure if you would be able to put it up in a messy bun or do that thing where you twist your hair at the nape of your neck and then bring it up and secure it with a clip. would i still be able to do these things with layers or are angles a safer bet?

What damages your hair more blow drying it or straightening it? I have heard that blow drying burns your hair but so does straightening it. My friend blow dries and straightens her hair and it is fried!!! Which method will damage your hair the least?
And when I mean blow drying i dont mean blow drying it straight. my purpose to dry my hair is to literally just dry it

I want to dye my hair, and I have to do it myself. When I dye it, it turns red...how do I stop it? Also, how do I get it on all of my hair? (I have A LOT of it.)

Two days ago i dyed my hair a redish brown with an inperminent hair dye (it fades after 30 washes), however it is much closer to my actual hair color than i thought it would be. Today it i bought a PERMANENT hair color kit that comes with hightlights. I am very impatient and want to dye my hair as soon as possible with the new stuff,my mother is worried that there will be some chemical reaction and might not turn out the way i want since i JUST colored it. Should i wait?
