It's darker than I want it to be. So also is there another way to lighten it? I can't afford pro coloring.

It's a permanent color. It is also darker than I wanted. The box said golden blonde but I got light brown. I am a natural blonde so I'm not sure what happened.

Supposedly, you can't color over color and hope to get it lighter. I would go to a salon if you can and have it highlighted, then start retouching at home with at least two shades lighter (just the roots). The more you apply color to the ends, the more it damages the hair and the darker it gets. I know bc I have been there & done that!
