Usually the hair around the face doesn't get much longer. It's because this hair is usually finer, and it's stressed and stretched from being pulled into too tight hairstyles and breaks and snaps off. It's just kind of one of those places on your head the hair doesn't get much length.

you could try straightnening her hair then the wings wouldnt be a problem i reccomend the super skinny line by paul mitchell use the serum and stright works to straighten her hair with out frizz bobby pins are great,messy bun look, curly/wavy look

You can either tell her to leave her hair down untill it grows out enough, or you can use bobby pins, hair gel, or clips to keep the "wings" down.

Use bobby pins to put it up in a messy bun.Theres not much you can do but wait it until it grows out.

Pig tails? Will they work? I have seen some very cute flipped pig tails. They band them up one extra time.
