We were visiting san antonio to see my family and my cousin and I were shopping at The Shops At La Cantera.We were walking around when this guy had came up to us and said you want to try our hair straightner, we were like sure so I sat down and he was like what hair straightner do you use and I said conair and he was said no no no no. He said that it would make our hair look dry. Then he asked us what kinda straightner do you want? I was like the CHI. He said no you do not want that it makes your hair look like a broom. While he was asking me and telling me this he was striaghtning out my hair (my hair was wavy at the end which I hate!) it went totally straight. Then he showed us this pink one that can curl too! It was awesome! Then we asked how much it cost he was like it cost $150-180.I know that the straightner started with a C but I don't know the name of it. If you've been there and know the name, please tell me and if you know where I can get it. It was during christmas. Thanks.

I'm a guy with hair thats about 2 and 1/2 inches long. It's really curly. I hate it and want straight hair. I've tried my sisters straightening iron (remington wet 2 straight) with limited success it works alright on the front, top, and sides but does nothing for the back. Is there something better out there? Or should I just cough ou the money and get it straightened professionally?

I did coontails in my hair not too long ago, I have black hair and I just bought bleach from sallys and used that for the stripes. Well now i'm sick of them and i thought if I just dyed my hair all black they woud go away...well they didn't and i've dyed it twice already and they're still there. Ughh, it's driving me crazy. How can I get rid of them?

Okay I am gonna cut my own hair and my friend says that if you put your hair in a ponytail then cut the end of the ponytail straight it will layer it, will that work and do u know any other ways to cut your own hair easily
it wold be a really high ponytail so it wouldnt be longer in the front than the back also I live in the midle of no where and cant just go to a salon okay they are like and hour and half away so plz dont just tell me dont do it and go to a salon cuz I cant

My hair is 2 feet 3' long (( Lol Yes I didnt just measure my hair out of boardom )) It dosent have a style to it but it is wavy. I don't know if any of you guys have watch Dragon Ball Z, but what's the best way to get your hair to look as close as possible to that but realistically? I'm talking about spikey hair in big chunks. Right now I have chin length, relaxed hair but I want to know HOW CAN I GET THIS HAIRSTYLE!? I found this picture online and I really like her hairstyle but it doesn't give any information about how her hair was done:

1) What was done to her hair - is it natural, texturized, relaxed and then straw set, etc what?
2) What would I have to do to maintain this hairstyle/cut?
3) What should I be asking my hairdresser specifically so that I can get this cut/hairstyle?

*DETAILS would be greatly appreciated as I tried looking online on how this style was done but couldn't find anything :(
