You first need to set it with some holding mouse while wet. Then either set it in rollers and let it dry. Spray with some hairspray before you unravel and see how the curl is. You might have to break the curls up with your fingers. Then set with some more hairspray for added hold. I would use Rusk w8less hairspray that way your curls have some movement to them and you wont have helmet hair. You may also wanna do some touch-ups with a large curling iron as well to re-set your curl.

If you are serious about keeping curls in your hair. Have a Body Wave put in. You don't have to get a tight curly perm to achieve the look you want. But, it will hold the curl you worked so hard get. If you want to wear your hair straight/ it's easier to blow it dry and staighten the waves out.
Most products are temporary and weight the hair down. They can cost you money, and end up in a box under the sink, or closet.
The only other way to maximize the duration of keeping your hair curly, is to set it wet after you shampoo & condition it.

After curling your hair, spray hairspray all over your hair, but not too much! Herbal Essence has really good hairspray, but they also have hair straightener spray, so remember to buy the right one!

Stop using the curling iron it damages ur hair! instead use gel when ur hair is kind of damp but a wee bit dry. Use hair gel becasue its better than moose. Make it look wild but then pat it down to tame it. Then put in lots of airspray to keep it together.

Use mouse or gel before blow drying. There is also a whipped wax that works well. Then curl and spray with hair spray it will hold!

try setting lotion.
~your hair may be too heavy that's why the curls keep falling. If that's te case sleep with roller they'll last alot longer.~
*hair spray, holding spray, or spritz will work also*
