Does anyone know how to start off kinky twist?

With weave and without braiding it first (i've tried that and to me it looks ugly) or do you have a website that explains how to do twists without purchasing a video.

I wear kinky twists with extensions. The weave is attached by a small braid at the base. But the braided part is hardly noticeable. Have you tried twisting your own hair? That may be easier because you don't need the braid. Use a non gel product like Natty Lock to get started.
