I've heard that a saloon bought shampoo and conditioner is better than a store bought one. Is this true? I've considered using Paul Mitchelle or Dove, but I'm not sure which to get?! Saloon or store bought one? Please help! Thanks in advance.

I have curly hair that gets VERY frizzy and bushy. I like to straighten it sometimes, and it looks good. I just recently bought sunsilk de-frizz shampoo and it didn't work. I need to get my hair cut soon as well. Can any of you suggest any good hair cuts for curly hair that can be worn straight? Also, what are some good shampoos? Thanks for the help in advance..

I washed my hair, blow-dried it, and just stratened it. it really looks like i just did a good job brow-drying it...it DOESN'T look straight. and the ends needs work. so I'm going to curl them. any ideas on how to make it look straight..and hang?

I Tried to bleach my hair at home and the roots look great but the rest of it is all orangey. The Lady at the store told me this would happen and she said I woudl have to re-bleach it. How long should I wait in between?

Im an African American girl and my hair is real thick and i get new growth really quickly. if hair extensions are supposed to be able to last anywhere from up to 3-6 months and your supposed to get a perm about every 6 weeks how am i supposed to carry my hair with extensions to its full term. i know you can wash your hair with them in but can you perm your hair is the question?

I have nose hairs that are about 3 inches long. I keep them trimmed, but they come back longer each time. They're very noticeable and not too attractive. I'm kind of embarassed to go somewhere to get them waxed, so I was wondering how I do it? I tried candle wax and it didn't work. Is there any other solution to uncontrollable nose hair's? Thanks

Im a college student thats on a budget, and I know that you pay what you get for....but I also know that there must be some decently priced brands that do what they claim to do. I want to keep my hair hydrated (especially during the winter season). I just want something that will keep my hair heathly without breaking the bank.
