As for making regrowth less apparent --- try to do caramel highlights and it will make the upkeep MUCH easier. Otherwise you will be showing root regrowth every 3 to 4 weeks which is a major pain!

If you had it professionally done it would be fine. Any kind of chemicals used in your hair are bound to cause some minimal damage but professional hair stylists know what they are doing so they cause as little damage as possible. I would not try to buy a "box" of haircolor at the grocery store that is way more likely to ruin your hair.

if u mean damage then no. get a shampoo that has damage control to help after coloration. Pantene Pro V,Pantene Pro Health or the new Sunsilk -- i like it b/c it has different formulas for different types of hair. but if u mean would it make u look worse to dye it then maybe u should try a temporary dye to see wat it would look like -- Pantene also does temporary dye--
hope this helps!!!

no, but you might want to see a professional hairdresser to do the colouring though, bercause yor hair is so dark, they will probably strip the colour first before dyeing it.

not really, but you dont really know if its going to look good on you, so you should try brown highlights first and the color rest of your hair if highlights look good.
