Yes, shaving does make it thicker and longer, and it will grow faster. But you could try waxing, it takes longer and hurts more, but it lasts longer.

No, that's a myth.
The hair on your legs just looks thicker after shaving because the top of the hair itself is now thicker from being cut, instead of tapered.
Waxing lasts longer, but you have to let it grow out longer to get enough hair to pull off.
If you shave every day or every other day, it doesn't take too long. Some people only shave when they will be exposed, but then you have a lot of shaving to do. I can't imagine only shaving in the summer (shudders). I like being bare.
If you do start to shave, always wait a few minutes in the shower to let the hairs plump up. Use soap or shaving cream, and always a nice sharp razor. You'll know when it's dull because you will take longer to get smooth.
Good luck to you....I hope this helps. :)

Yes. That is true. When i started shaving my mom only let me do it once a week and I still only do that becuase its a pain to always have to shave, and becuase its not like anybody really looks that closely at your legs so if they are stubbly then it isnt that big of a deal becuase if you shave once a week your hair will stay light colored. Also try not to shave much past your knees becuase that is a pain to have to do it too. My friend's mom didnt let her shave because of the same reason so she had to wax for a year and then was able to shave and now she only has to shave once a week and her hair is barely there and very blonde, like mine becuase I only shave once a week too! You might want to consider that idea before shaving right away or everyday.

NO IT DOESN'T!!!11!
It only appears as it does, as the tip of hair is sharp due to the clear cut. And the hair is much shorter, so it appears stronger. (Take a new pencil and break it. That wasn't hard, was it? Break it again. And again. Get my point?)
