For christmas my sister got a flat iron. she has thick curly hair. She wants to know if there is a certain kind of product or hair spray that she should use before or after she uses her flat iron.

Biosilk is really good, you can usually buy it at the JC Penny Salon or Sally's Beauty Supply
Citre Shine is also really good for controlling the frizz afterwards, i bought that one at Wal Mart

Well I also got a flat iron too, its a cheap one because my hair isn't super curly BUT it is so frizzy like curly peoples hair. So I take a long shower and use Herbal Essences Shampoo and Condinatinor(none of your frizzieness kind) then blow dry straight. Before I use the flat iron I run a small dab of Sunsilk straight stuff through my hair then use the flat iron. The sunsilk stuff makes it smooth and not frizzy, but also helps to keep it straight. Some people use a tad bit of hairspray after but I don't bother.

It should work without a product but if she uses one it will help make it straighter! I use a good product by sunsilk. You can buy their shampoo, comditioner, leave-in conditioner, etc. It will come in a purple bottle and say "Straighten Up" on it. They sell it at most stores and it is affordable. Hope I helped!

She should try loreal's '' hot liss'' ( Beyonce advertises it).It is in a pink bottle.It reall takes care of the hair and avoids burning.It is also very easy to use and smells nice

Just go to a down town hair dresser they should give you all you'll need I dont know much about chemicals in hair but I heard moisturizers and garnia works.

I have corse, frizzy wavy hair. I use a little bit of Biosilk smoothing serum before I strighten it and after. All of my friends use it, it's great.

If she uses her choice of any knid of hair spray on each part that she is about tu flat iron...its makes it very straight and silky lookin...dats wat i do everytime i flat iron my hair and it really works...hope dat helps!

tell her that wen she dries her hair she shood add some CHI silk infusion. evn if the straitner isnt CHI. thats wut i use and i can straiten my hair evry day w/o it getting damaged. make sure she doesnt spray her hair w/anything flammable..coz u no...
