I use Loreal Excellence Creme. It doesn't drip, so I can color my eyebrows. The color remains consistent from time to time, and it comes with a great conditioner pack.

Target is now offering two boxes for about the price of one. ($8.00)

Good luck, and I hope this helps! :)

Go to Sally Beauty Supply and get Ion Brilliance (permanent); otherwise try Color Charm (demi-permanent). I wish Ion would come out with a demi or semi. It's about $4 per tube.

Personally, being a gay guy ... I always get my hair highlighted or colored at a beauty salon ... that's the way to go ... besides, if you mess it up at home ... you can't reverse it! Spend the extra money and get it professionally done. [finger snaps]

Loriel for the least amount of damage to your scalp.

Clarol for the best colors.
