even if i cut my hair i still end up getting split ends or dryed hair.

On Saturday I got a hair cut with this one lady and she cut it really nice so today I thought I would get some highlights. I went in at 4:30 and didnt get out till 9:30! She didnt even start on my hair until 8! She didnt color it the correct colors, it was supposed to be a light coppery brown but its an orangey blonde! And worst of all, she charged me $80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and she only put four pieces of foil in my hair! I so got my *** ripped off!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions on an inexpensive way to fix these ghetto *** highlights??

i have a few questions...:
1: is dying the bottomw of your hair less damage than at the top, where the roots are?
2: i did exactly what the bottle told me to and it just didnt work!!! i have brown hair, medium. not black or anything......? i was trying to dye it blue.
3: how much more damage is perminatly dying your hair than non-perimantly dying your hair? im only 13, but i really want to dye my hair. alot of people talk about the more you dye your hair, the earlyer and more it will fall out as you get older.

I've never been able to get my hair wavy/curly the way I've always wanted to. When I curl my hair I only end up curling the ends under. I asked a previous stylist once and she demonstrated on me by starting at the top of my head at the roots, but I can't remember exactly how she did it and I can't seem to figure it out. If someone can explain it to me, thanks! Otherwise, I will have to go back to that stylist and ask her to show me again. If you have directions, let me know!

I'm about to buy a straightner.My hair has small curls, it's thick, but still manageable. What brand of straightners are the best (enough heat, hair stays straight for long, etc.)? Preferably suggest brans that have ceramic, please.

Let me start by saying I have naturally black hair. I had it lightened at the salon over the summer, but I got tired of it, so I just dyed my hair back to black. It worked out fine, but now I want to lighten my hair up a tad again...just to a lighter brunette shade, but when I bought the Loreal "Les True Brunettes" lightener, it didn't do a thing! How can I lighten my dyed black hair a lighter brunette color? Again, my natural hair color is black...(I read other people's questions like this, but it seemed they were all blondes trying to get back to their lighter color...) So quick recap: I was originally black haired, then lightened to caramel (professionally), now dyed back to my original black, now I want it lightened to a lighter brunette.

I plan on getting my hair permanetly straightened this wednesday... do you think it would be ok to get it all-over colored and highlighted on saturday? I know alot of stylists tell you to wait one week before coloring your hair after a perm, however, I absolutely cannot wait! How serious will the damages be?

Last summer, I bleached my dark brown hair blonde. It still looks pretty good but the roots are really starting to show and the color is less even. Is there any way that I can somehow "undo" the bleach?? Any suggestions on other options to even out my color?

I have brunette hair and it's straight but sometimes curly.
I have also been trying a ton of shampoos+conditioners and nothing really works. And does 'Curl Instucter Mousse' work?
