You can get a product called "Ego boost" by Bed head and it WILL seal split ends until you wash it again. However, I would get a good healthy cut..say 2-3 inches to start with. Then every 4-6 weeks get a 1/4 inch cut. Have deep heating conditioners once a month, done at your salon. Keep up a routine and use professional products and your hair will look wonderful in about 3-5 months. Honest!

When you are using the ego boost with your iron whether it be a flat iron or curling, go slightly slower over the ends so it will fuse them together. Again, this only works until you wash your hair. Good luck and God bless

i have this same problem--my hair seems to get dry & split ends clear up the shaft of the hair--my hairdresser suggested that after i get my haid cut that i get a good conditioning treatment from the salon. they put some type of conditioner & then put you under the hair blower & let it heat up for about 20minutes. Then rinse it out. I have tried this & it really does seem to help. Also when using a hair dryer or heating irons for your hair, first use some kind of hair conditioner or heat tamer right before you apply heat. Good Luck!!

I use hair treatment once a week on my hair to get rid of the dryness, I have been using a few and they are good. I would recommend a cheaper one (available at drug store) and it's from Aussie, you can check the details at: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&Itemid=99999999&id=353

The trick is let the hair treatment sit on your hair for 3-4 hours (tie it up and you could do something else in the meantime), it absorbs better and you will see the difference. After 3-4 times, you will notice your hair is less dry.

You can't really repair split ends, but you can cut them, and care for them with good shampoos and conditioners. Do you go swimming or are in intense sun a lot? If so, this may be your problem. You may need to use super moistureizing hair care products and stay away from swimming and sun.

I have the same problem. What works for me is shampoo plus conditioner. Once or twice a week you do a hot oil treatment. You can find it at any store grocery, walmart etc. Very cheap too. After your shower towel dry and put in a hair serum. I use neutrogena. My hair has been very much healthier. I hope this helps good luck

Rub some hair treatment oil between your hands. Apply it to the ends, and rub whats left thru the rest of your hair - not too much or it can look greasy - just 1 squirt will do.
Use leave-in conditioner to protect ur hair from sun, wind damage etc

Split ends aren't repairable, they can only be trimmed and then prevented. Try asking a stylist to do a very small trim, then I suggest you use argan oil to prevent any more split ends. My fav brand is Pro Natural’s Moroccan Argan oil, it's free from silicones so your hair can only get better by using this. You can get it online or google it and you'll find it.

For dry hair pls try these hot oil massages....they will help in maintaing the natural sheen of your hair and will also condition your hair:

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the
head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.

Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.

Note on split ends:
Best ways to make you free from split ends is do not comb in the wet hair .Use a good herbal shampoo and avoid frequent changing of shampoo.Make sure you drink a lot of water as water contains minerals.Apply henna at least once a week.Oil your hair with a combination of almond oil and castor oil mixed and warm together.Do not expose your hair to extreme heat or temperature.Manage to trim off your split ends.Do not back comb.

Thanks and take care!
