I've never been able to get my hair wavy/curly the way I've always wanted to. When I curl my hair I only end up curling the ends under. I asked a previous stylist once and she demonstrated on me by starting at the top of my head at the roots, but I can't remember exactly how she did it and I can't seem to figure it out. If someone can explain it to me, thanks! Otherwise, I will have to go back to that stylist and ask her to show me again. If you have directions, let me know!

First clamp the iron on the hair shaft about an inch or two from the scalp, leaving the ends out. Now roll the iron toward the scalp while working the ends into the curl. This is done by loosening the clamp and allowing the hair to flow into the iron while turning. Touch the hair on the outside of the curl with your finger. Don’t touch the barrel of the iron. When this hair is hot, the curl is finished, take the iron out. As another aid in creating more curl and bounce, slide the iron out of the curl while holding the hair in place. Either hold it until it cools or clip it in place and go on to the next curl. If you are worried about burning yourself when trying to get the curl close to the head, try sliding a comb between your head and the iron before taking the iron all the way down.

What I do is i exploit pins or perhaps those duck clips you ought to purchase in shops and clip them in variety of a circle formation, it particularly is stressful to describe, yet create a curl interior the clip. Then I lean over and spray hairspray throughout my roots and enable it sit down for a minute, all collectively because it particularly is damp. It won't make your roots curly because of the fact they are weighed down or perhaps a curling iron in all probability would not help notwithstanding it provides extra quantity and the phantasm which you have curls from root to tip.

Take a section of hair. Clamp the curling iron at the roots, then wrap the rest of the hair around it. Open the spring clamp just enough to tuck in the end if you want the end to curl. Do not if you prefer your hair to end straight.
