i haved black hair it used to be blonde has any of you dyed your hair lighter from black e.g to dark blonde or dark brown, if so what product did you use? thanks x

if you have this, or know someone who does, can you should me a picture. can you also suggest some hairstyles. i dont want to dye ALL my hair. what should i do? my hair is about 3 inches past my shoulder. and i have a lighter color or dirty blonde hair. please help!

I like it, but am slowly starting not to b/c every single person in school and family is telling me how horrible/fake it looks. I wish I could just block everything out and be more confident.

Honest Opinions - I know a lot of people are going to say i should have just stuck to my original color and should have been happy with it but i really want change. Is there something else i could do with it to look better?

Details: I have very naturally straight and fine hair, which is mid-back in length, and I have dyed black for many years now. When I wash it, I blow dry it which makes it kind of frizzy so then I have to flat iron it. The problem is, the flat iron flattens my hair TOO much so it looks limp. I have tried very nice, expensive products on my hair, i.e. serums, leave in treatments, hot oils, weekly treatments, so it is soft and shiny but it just either has volume and is frizzy or is flat but limp.. Help me!

I permed my hair last nite and it felt like rubberbands and my hair was just breakin off if it pulled it!!!! well i have really bad split ends and now my hair looks like i have dreadlocks.........NO LIE!!!!!!!! It is soon nasty and all i've done is cry. How do fix it and get the perm out...I have already washed it.

I first went in October to get my hair cut instead of listening to me the hairdresser cut off almost 10 inches and made my hair look like a boy haircut right at my chin. Then I thought it looked so bad I went back to have a few layers put in and she put layers in the right side of my hair and not the left and then she cut more off the right side of my head than she did with my left side. To make matters worse I have extremely thin hair only on the right side so this is affecting my entire life. I feel like I don't want to live or do anything fun anymore. I have a beautiful family and don't like feeling this way. Any advice would be helpful. My husband and kids are the best and I want to do the best for them. I just don't know how to deal with this horrilbe haircut. I cry everyday and think about leaving my family all because of this. I have always been a very optomistic person. I do not want to go get it fixed I because I am scared of anyone with scissors.

My hair is so messed up. I got it dyed, highlighted, and permed all in one day, on top of a another perm, and about 4 years of continuous dying. I have used everything from walmart almost, and I just started using Pantene Restoratives, and a Fermydol protein treatment. My hair is breaking off at the ends and looks horrible. I need SERIOUS HELP! Please tell me if you have any answers for me.

If wash my hair today, HONESTLY tomorrow I'll have terrible flakes again. It's been this way since I was a young girl & it's still happening at 21. I feel like I'm scrubbing really well and using good shampoos, but the problem remains. Not only flakes, but the type of dandruff that actually grows on your scalp. (Sounds disgusting, right?) I know it's about to get worse because of the dry winter months... any solutions/ tips will be appreciated. Tried Head n Shoulders... doesnt help & cant afford a drematologist.

I am thinking of getting this brush and going to dye my hair at home but I can never get all the hairs on the roots and in between so I seen this product and thinking about getting it.

Does it get all the hairs in between? And all the roots?
Is it effective and precise?

On a scale 1 to 10 with 10 being Excellent, Very Effective---what would you you give it?

I don't know how to do my hair in the mornings! I usually just put it up in a ponytail, or straighten it and leave it down- but mostly ponytail. My hair is like Wavyiish and goes really poofy if i just leave it out. I have bangs that are up to my lips. I dont want to put too many products in my hair; otherwise I'll hear it from my mom. I NEED HELPP!!! But something that isnt hard to do in the morning. Looking for something easy and simple?
