I use John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette shampoo and conditioner, as well as the hair glaze, and those help a lot.

You could also use Citre Shine products.

Eat healthy and drink plenty of water. Shampoos and conditioners that add shine are only a temporary solution until your hair gets washed again. All they're doing is adding a coat of build-up that causes your hair to appear shiny. It's not doing it from the inside out, which is what you need to do. Why do people always ask this question and then go for a crappy shampoo? Seriously people...

Try Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine….. Pantene has helped me both heal my split ends after bleaching my hair, and help smooth my cuticles so I can style my hair just the way I want. It’s a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner that works wonders for me. I’ve tried a lot of products to get my hair shiny and healthy again and Pantene worked the best. Here’s a free sample, try it for youself: http://topherreimroc.com/Pantene

Take vitamin E and always rinse your hair in cold water. Hot water tends to make it look dull. You may want to try a clarifying shampoo once a week as well to remove product build-up. Good Luck!

My hair has been very long all my life and people often compliment me on the shine. I use 1/2C apple cider vinegar mixed with 2C water as a finishing rinse. Let your hair dry nautrally and gently brush. Works great and very cost effective.

you have to wait a good long time for most shampoos to take effect. or maybe your hair is too dirty, you're not cleaning it right.
try a clarifying shampoo(maybe even a daily one)suave has the best one and its pretty cheap:)
hair that is not clean(like cleaned right without the gunk) can prevent your hair from looking its best.
also damaging it from heat appliances and frecuent colorings really strip the health and shine.
so go natural and make sure your hair is properly cleaned right.
also try pantene ice shine
everyone says good things about it.

Try using a mayonnaise mask. Massage it into your hair and let it sit for 30-60 minutes, then wash and condition well. You could also try hot oil treatments or shine serums.
