Nope but hydrogen peroxide (the kind in those cheapie brown bottles) will lighten it a bit. You could put it in and let it sit for an hour or so and then wash it out and it will lighten your hair a little. But BEWARE, you can only do this a few times without causing damage, so be careful :)

I don't think it will lighten it but dish soap is harsh for hair and it will strip out all the oil, hair spray and any product that is in it. It strips everything out so you will need to recondition it after you use the dish soap. It won't hurt anything but it will feel dull and not very slick.

Well, I'm not sure about dish soap, but lemon juice helps. Just buy the kind that comes in a bottle at the grocery store, comb it through your hair, and sit in the sun for about fifteen or so minutes.

Good luck, hope I helped!

No, I wouldn't chance it. Dish soap has some very harsh additives compared to regular shampoo. It will strip all the essential oils from your hair and scalp, leaving you with a dry itchy head.

I think that only works if your hair is dyed. Apparently putting some lemon juice in your hair and sitting in the sun makes it lighter though...
