if you brush it too much you can cause damage. the best way to keep your hair soft and silky is to wash it and condition it. there is a great product called "bio silk" i think biolage makes it and you apply a small amount to your hair and it makes it very shiny and silky and it smells wonderful.

You're funny .... lol
and it will make it greasey

*try to use conditioner once every two days
~Only use conditioner after a shampooing
*Do not blow dry or flat iron your hair
~ *COUGH* cause your wife might flat iron her hair *cough* ~

and another good tip is to soak your hair in a tub of lukewarm water with the following mixture:

*4 tablespoons of lotion
*1 teaspoon of shower gel or shampoo
*1 tablespoon of conditioner

~Mix them all together and soak your hair... or I mean your wife's hair for about 10 minutes and then rinse it out VERY GOOD!!!~

Let the hair air dry and it might even be better if she goes outdoors and lets her hair dry....

Brushing and blow drying would, it depends whether or not your "wife" has long hair, if "she" does it will. If "she" doesn't lots of shampoo and conditioner will help, but make sure the shampoo "she" uses is for smooth and silky hair.

Tell your wife to try using a pure bore bristle brush. It strengthens the hair as well as increase shine to the hair without causing static, breakage, or split-ins to the hair. Sally Beauty Supply has a large selection of nice hair brushes. Tell her to check them out.

i dont think so. You should try conditioners. Brushing your hair alot is actualy bad for it because it rips alot of hair from the head. ALSO it might make it feel smooth but it might make it frizzy and staticky. It also depends on the texure of the hair and type. by that i mean dry, oily, curly, wavy ect.

I always heard that it is good to brush your hair because it stimulates your scalp, but when I went to Cosmetology school we learned that too much brushing can break the hair.

No of course not it won't make her hair silky and smooth. The easiest way is to rub the scalp of your hair and hair with coconut oil and wash it with herbs not shampoo nor soap.

Hope it helps.

Yes it will, but if your hair is dry it can also cause a lot of split dry ends and a lot of breakage. Use a really good conditioner.
