Hair - November 2006

My hair is naturally a medium brown. I dyed it 2 weeks ago to be a dark blonde, but I don't really care for how it turned out T_T
How long should I wait if I were just going to dye it a darker colour?

I want blue streaks in my hair.. Dark Blue and Shiny... i dont want a light blue or bright blue... but i dont want it black either... so which do u think i should buy? which product and color...
i like this colour but a little bluer... (the pic is just a guideline of how dark i want it)

Hi I use hair straighteners everyday and have started to see the damage. So I was wondering what heat protective sprays are the best in preventing damage and do not cause your hair to look greasy or stiff. Thankyou in advance

p.s I haven't got much money so I hope it would be cheap although I want one that protects otherwise it is a waste of money

Hi I straighten my hair everyday and have began to notice the effect it is causing on my hair. So I decided that I would straighten my hair every couple of days because when you are 15 and at school straightened hair is a must. Anyway to do this I can not wash my hair every day however even if I dn't was it for 1day my hair appears greasy. So I was wondering how I could combat this. Thankyou

p.s Do any of you's wash your hair every couple of days because if you put water on your hair you will have to straighten it.

My hair is pretty 'fried' at the moment (lousy salon experience; long story). It's slightly wavy, shoulder length, and quite fine...

...so, ideally, nothing that'll weigh it down too much. I'm not looking for much by way of a styling product; it doesn't have to have 'hold.'

And I hate stuff that's sticky.

Any suggestions for something easy to use to make it look a bit less frizzy, dried out, etc?

I am sick and tired when my hair gets so messy in the morning...I spent hours drying it and straighten it into style the night before. But, I heard that if you buy a Slik pillowcase it doesn't wreak your hair when your moving about in your sleep. But Im worried though, moving my hair about on the Silk pillowcase, will it create static?? Have you any tips?

i have an EXTREMELY dry scalp. i picked up head and shoulders shampoo but havent used it yet, is this the best dandruff shampoo to use on african american hair? does it work? also, can i use the anti itch scalp medicine on relaxed hair? and should i oil, grease, or is there a certain something im supposed to put on my hair or scalp after washing to help this problem?

For the last two years I have been getting my hair highlited through the cap thing. It started growing out and so I decided to get some of that cheap stuff from Wal-Mart and dye it back brown. My hair is layered sort of like that Jennifer Anniston look and I use a flat iron and since I've dyed it brown, you can see major split ends and it is very dry. If I were to get all the split ends cut off it would be very short and I like the lenghth it is. Any suggestions on a good conditioner or something? I want it to look shiny. I use that Frizz Ease and the Aussie 3 minute miracle and even that Scruples Moisterex but I need something that will repair split ends and make my hair shiny if there is such a product. Any help would be very much appreciated.

My hair has a rough texture. To help restore its texture, I've been taking a supplement called Pantogar for about 3 months; given by my doctor, i'm just wondering how effective is this supplement?
