I am sick and tired when my hair gets so messy in the morning...I spent hours drying it and straighten it into style the night before. But, I heard that if you buy a Slik pillowcase it doesn't wreak your hair when your moving about in your sleep. But Im worried though, moving my hair about on the Silk pillowcase, will it create static?? Have you any tips?

I don't know how much good it will do for your hair...get up earlier in the morning and do it then...or shower at night, then style in the AM

There is no way you can keep your hair style over night and getting up early is a pain in the butt (for me anyhow). My advice, apart from the silk pillowcase, would be to get a good cut so that all you would do in the morning is apply mousse and shake it all out. Try it. My hair is fine and won't hold a style and if I had the nerve, I would go to work looking just out of bed, but I work in a library and they are terribly straight laced old effers, so I can't do that. Old wifies used to spray it hard and the style would last all week and you don't want that!!

Get a real silk pillowcase not just a satin one that is made of polyester...that's where the static comes from.
Depending on how long your hair is you could use a kerchief to hold it down at night.
You just have to get up a little earlier to touch up your hair.
Learn to embrace your natural wave or curls and straighten your hair before you go out so you won't worry about it so much in the morning.

I wouldn't worry about it, i have purple silk pillowcases and it doesn't create static.! I don't know about keeping your hair perfect, i usually still have to style it in the morning!! But give it ago and even if it doesn't work, they are lovely to sleep on..!

i wake up at 6 to go to school every morning, and i still have to style my hair (which is horrible and unmanagable). i get out of the house at arround 7. try getting up earlier. my mom gets up at 5 to exercise, take a shower, then do her hair and makeup, and she looks great every day.

if you were bald like me you wouldn't have any hair to worry about. Wrap it turban style and then get up earlier to make it up prior to going out during the day.
