They sell products in the drugstore to spray on furniture to kill the lice. Also anything you can put in the dryer the heat will kill them. Put lice in your search engine and you will come up with all kinds of stuff.

Wash everything you can in Hot water and dry on high/hot. Can't do this? tie it up in trash bags for at least 2 weeks. Also I read you can put stuff in the freezer for a couple of days and this kills them too.
You can by a spray for couches mattresses and carpets that will also need to be treated. If he used your comb or brush run them through the dishwasher, the high heat kills them.

If your worried about you own head. have some check or a nurse at the health department can check you too.
There is a battery operated comb (ryobi? i think) That when you comb through your hair with it, it quits buzzing if it coms through a critter.
I know it's rough, but, everyone goes through this at least once in their life.

Heat. Use a hair dryer to heat anything his head may have touched (couch, chairs, etc.) and don't touch anything for 3 days. Go away for the weekend. Lice die if they don't have anything to live on (human hair) after 3 days.
