My hair has a rough texture. To help restore its texture, I've been taking a supplement called Pantogar for about 3 months; given by my doctor, i'm just wondering how effective is this supplement? Anybody tried it before? Read from the Net that it's mostly used for hair loss.. And is there any other effective supplement that is good for damaged hair?

I don't know of any other supplements for hair besides what is available at your local health food or vitamin store... there are formulas made especially for hair, skin and nails (usually found in the women's section). The bit of advise I can give you is to try a product for damaged hair that you can purchase at beauty supplies (i.e. Sally Beauty Supply stores). I do alot to my hair, color changes, bleaching, and heat styling, which of course is all damaging to hair. I found that L'Oreal Nature's Therapy Deep conditioning creme for damaged hair works wonders. I swear by it. Leaves hair unbelievably soft and manageable. I think you this product will greatly compliment your use of supplements.

Sunsilk Hydra TLC seems to be working on me. I used to straighten my hair everyother day and blow dry it almost as often, causing my hair to get EXTREMELY damaged. It's beenn about 2 or 3 weeks since I started using Sunsilk, and it's pretty good. And it smells really good too.
