i had a full thick head of fairly curly hair when i was young. i now have no hair on top, (i'm 66) so put me down i guess in the proof that it is true department...lol..

For something that supposedly harms my hair it sure makes it look good. I've been blow drying my hair for probably around 15 years now.....will it eventually end up damaging my hair or is my hair just indifferent to it? My hair is long and thick so if I do let it dry naturally it takes hours. So far though I see no damage done to my hair because I blow dry it....does it only happen to some hair types or has my time just not come yet?

if I wear a nice neat braided hairstyle, Why don't some bosses like that? Why do people raise flak about the hairstyles? It's nothing extreme like purple hair or cut strangely.

Last year I was very ill and as a result I lost all my hair (eeek!) I was given a wig to wear so I could go out without feeling self conscious but now I feel my hair has grown back enough that I don't need the wig anymore.

The only problem is my hair is still very short and I don't know what to do with it. I've always worn my hair long (it was way down my back when it started to fall out) so I don't even know where to start when styling it! It's also so incredibly curly and frizzy that I feel like a crazy old lady when I leave it natural! (If you've ever seen Dylan Moran in Black Books - That's my hair! lol)

I feel even too embarrassed to go to a hairdresser because my hair is so short so if you have any tips I would love to hear them.

I have jet black hair that is naturally straight. It was long down to my waist before but now I cut it at least 4 inches. People love my hair and that is my asset. However people think that I straigten my hair and I think I have been called a vain person who worries about looks and probably looks in the mirror everyday to take care of my hair. To tell the truth, I just take a bath everyday and comb my hair once and then have a trim. People think I do more than that. Once I went in the bathroom and washed my hands. Two girls in their whispered to each other "Does she straighten her hair?" Some have made jokes to try and cut the whole mane off. I have been made fun of for walking down the halls with it flowing behind me. I don't do it on purpose;it just flows and people are like "Ugh look at her"

What should I do? My piano teacher said they're jealous...is that true? I even cut my hair and when it grows long again I don't know what to do

Also some people have tried to copy me

I straighten my hair almost everday of the week, and sometimes on the weekend.
i use this shampoo that is for dry hair (even though my hair isnt dry..i dont want it to dry out) if i continue to do this..what will happen? will my hair stay soft and smooth, or will it dry out like THAT?

i know that bleaching your hair damages it really bad and everything because it strips the hair of its natural color but does darkening you hair with a permanent dye damage it? i have hair almost at my waist and it dye it black and it is more shiny and glossy then before i dyed it black but when i used to bleach my hair it would not grow longer then mid back and was not shiny at all so does dyeing you hair darker then it natural color damage the hair?

i have naturally straight hair......meaning it take sa long time for it to look wavy.i wet it in the morning and put gel.....but it kinda wears off during the day. i want it to have that freash out of the sho9wer hair look
