Yes leave-in conditioner works, the purpose of it is that sometimes hair needs extra moisture, that regular conditioner doesn't leave behind when it gets rinsed out. Although I've stopped using it since I started using hello hydration by Clairol Herbal Essence.

there are different leave in conditioners, that may have more benefits then others.. do the research.. just type in leave in conditioners on the web and you will find your answers...

Regular conditioner on dry hair can weigh it down and look oily. A leave in conditioner is light, can be used as a detangler, no need to rinse, helps with frizzies/flyaways, and heat damage

There are various types of leave in conditioners that work very well. They are made to help your hair become less frizzy and less damaged. If you have very fried and damaged hair from dying, bleaching, etc..., then a deep conditioner is excellent.

Leave -in conditioners are usually recommended for people with chemically processed hair for the extra conditioning. They are also great detanglers, just be sure that if you have fine hair to not get one that is not too heavy. I suggest Redken Color Extend: Total Recharge.

Leave-in conditioner is kind of like detangler which you spray in your hair. The Kind I have used only works if you heat it with a hair dryer though. Some are heat acctivated.

It calms the hair even a bit more. Yes it does work and very well on my granddaughters hair ,which is thick and curly and mine which is thick and straight. I do not use it with a conditioner as it tends to make my hair greasy when i use both, but my granddaughter uses both and quite nicely.
