Hair - September 2006

I wash, blowdry and straighten my hair everyday before school. If i do it at night before i go to my bed my hair is flat the next morning. i have a side fringe and if i dont wash everyday it goes lank and greasy...i was wondering, is washing everyday bad for my hair? I dont want to do my hair damage but i dont want flat greasy locks either. thanx for any answers xx

I almost always wear my hair up and off my neck. I have noticed over the last few months if my hair falls on my neck it itches and continues to itch for a few hours. I don't wear my hair at the base of my neck but up higher so its not my hair tie, And it happens even when I use a clamp. I have not changed soap, shampoo, conditioner or laundry soap. It only itches when my hair has fallen on my neck, even just a little hair causes the itch. Does anyone have a clue if I could be alergic to my hair?

So my hair appt is friday and I have no idea what would look good on me! Any suggestions? I am getting a color and cut. I want something that will go good with my face shape and skin tone. Thanks so much everyone! Advice in both areas would be great!!

my hair is a little less curly now. Thats an old perm. I was thinking blonde, red, and brown streaks. But I have no idea how it'll look! Thanks!! And sorry the pics werent working! All better now!

HI dont you just hate it when you are waiting for your hair colour to grow out and bits are your own colouring and the other faded hairdye are showing. Well i would just like to now what semi colour i should use to freshen it up abit. I have pale skin, my hair wont bleach blonde because of the previous dyes ive got on my hair. I was thinking a browny plum colour. Ive had it this colour before and people say it suits me, but i like when my hair is quite light with multi tones rather than 1 basic colour. Any suggestions ?

Only semi permenant though, just to brighten it up a bit, dont want permenant as iam waiting for it to grow out as it is, as im getting married next year and dont want to be stuck with a colour i dont like. Thanks

I'm a single dad. My daughter just started shaving. She is not using a razor. I bought her the mild Nair with a bladless razor. My sister lives nearby and helped with her first time. She claims that her mother (who she doesn't see anymore) shaves on a towel in the living room.

I dyed my hair green and now nobody likes me...i only did it to attract my type of guys (rocker,punk) but no i regret it now and i have found out that it was permanent when it wasnt suppose to be and it has made my future hair come out greenish instead of the regular blonde color....

I don't blowdry my hair anymore since I heard that it's bad for your hair. I let my hair air dry, then it comes out frizzy and poofy but slightly wavy. Does anyone know of a product I can put in my hair to make it air dry smooth? Thanks!

Hi, I'm a 21 yrs. old guy and I'm from India. People when they look at me don't believe that I'm 21, rather they assume that I'm 30- 35. The flaws on my face I would say are dark circles around my eyes, wrinkles on my face, very thick eye brows and frown marks on my forehead..And I also have started balding ( MALE PATTERN BALDNESS) for which i wanna regain my hair back.And my arms and body are densely hairy.So please suggest me some solutions/measures in terms of DIET or other in a natural and a healthy way that would make me look like somebody of my actual age.Please suggest me something in such a way that is feasible to follow in India.
