I don't blowdry my hair anymore since I heard that it's bad for your hair. I let my hair air dry, then it comes out frizzy and poofy but slightly wavy. Does anyone know of a product I can put in my hair to make it air dry smooth? Thanks!

I have the same type of hair. When I air dry, I use Umberto Giannini Curl Friends Smoothing Balm. I had no hope for my frizzy hair before I used this...it works wonderfully! Also, what you wash with has a big effect on how your hair will look when it dries. Strictly Curls shampoo is good. I also use conditioner by Umberto Giannini...put it on your hair when you first go into the shower and make rinsing it out the last thing you do. Don't go crazy trying to get it all out of your hair...keeping a little on it will help moisturize it, resulting in less frizz.

There is a new shampoo out called Sunsilk Anti-poof (walmart) it is made for people who let their hair dry naturally. I use it and it works ( not too expensive either:) I also use a product called Anti-snap by Redken.. It makes my hair softer and more shiny. I ahev noticed that when I let it dry naturally it doesn't seem as shiny, the the Redken helps. Hope it helps you.

I've tried everything that says will help frizz including the infamous "freeze ease" which by the way does not work. So, I don't think there really is a product our there that helps. They all claim to do this and that but really, I don't find that to be the case.

Any product you use will mess up your hair. It may make it look better but it really won't be... I dont know how long your hair is but what I do is I ponytail my hair down to the tip, like a wrap I keep it together and there is less frizz and poof.

you can use a hairdryer. anything you ever do to your hair is damaging in some way. you just have to compensate for the bad things you do to your hair by using good shampoos and conditioners and regular treatments... having regular hair cuts and not having too much colour put in your hair. plus, frizzy hair is sooo out... ;-)
