Hydrating treatments. Put it in your hair one or two times a week. What you do is shampoo your hair, and put the treatment in. Put a shower cap on your hair, or cling wrap, whatever you have... and you use the hairdryer on it to heat it up.. and the cap or plastic keeps the heat in. Treatments work especially well when your hair is hot! THen rinse it out. If that doenst make your hair nicer... then your hair must be long past revival. also, using a proper shampoo and conditioner makes a world of a difference. professional brands are a must!! supermarket brands are full of silicon... thats why they're so cheap. and let me tell you, they ruin your hair...

DO NOT put olive oil in your hair. DO NOT use Dove, Pantene, V05 and all of that crap listed above.

Vitamins and food can help you get healthy hair. One website recommends protein rich foods.

"Good food sources for protein include fish, eggs, beans and yogurt. Soy protein has also been found to be helpful in stimulating hair growth.

One study of the results of soy on the hair found that it not only strengthened the hair but caused it to grow. A great source of soy is tofu."

rub extra virgin olive oil in it and let it sit for an hour or two. Wash it out ONCE with shampoo and condition as usual. Your hair will be beautiful and restored. You may smell extra virgin while its sitting on your head, but the smell washes out with the first shampoo. If your hair has the tendency to be oilier on top, just put in the olive oil from the ears down. It works wonders!

You could use a shampoo that's good for build up. I use Pantene Pro-V clarifying shampoo once every couple of weeks. I also put a good conditioner in my hair, put on a shower cap, and sleep in the conditioner over night. When you wake up the next morning just rinse it out of your hair and style as usually. DON'T REWASH IN THE MORNING JUST RINSE! That does seem to help me. I hope it works for you. Any type of clarifying shampoo should work just as well as Pantene.
