Hair - September 2006

I look like the early years of hermionie granger. Its kind of weird how poofy and thick it is. apparently my only way to thin it out is by a hairdresser who says after a week its gonna look bad AGAIN. And my straightener is a magician but its still poofy when its straight. if you know what I mean. I'm hoping someone could tell me a way to get rid of the bulk and poofyness of it.

I've been dying my extremely thick hair black for 3 to 4 years. A little less than a year ago I tried bleaching it out, and of course it only turned my roots orange as I knew it would, (don't follow a mother's advice when it comes to haircolor). The brand of dye that I use is Revlon Colorsilk--Permanent--10 black. As you can guess I'm getting really bored with it so I wanted to know if there was a way to get rid of it, such as getting it professionaly stripped? I'm not sure what to do seeing as how there are so many layers of black and fear of damaging my already frizzy-thick-unstraightenable hair. So please, how do I get rid of it!?

I get about .5" of hair growth per month (on my head). But if I didn't shave my legs for a month... it would be waaay longer than that! Why?

I just started using Prenatal pills, but i have a friend who had her hair to her waist then she cut it to just below her shoulders and now it is half way down her back, and it only took her about a year and a half...does anyone else have a similar story that can tell me what they did to get their hair to grow back so fast??? its weird, im like blonde and i have black hair growing from my chin in like massive amounts. i am shaving everyday now with a mans razor...please help it is really embarssing.

most of the time i have a tan (naturall) but in the winter i kinda get white but i want my hair to be darker but i just dont wanna look goth so i was wondering should die my hair really dark brown ( looks close to black) or reddish dark brown( you can tell its brown ) with blond , light brown , and aurburn higlits pleaz help i'm bored with my plain brown hair and just to let yall know i had my hair died a hot brown( redish brown) and looked pretty but i want sumthin different
