I'm getting married soon and I dont know if to wait until after the wedding to change up my style

Is it a drastic change or a subtle one?

If you don't like it, you will be stuck with it, particularly if it involves a drastic color change or cutting a lot off.

If it's something you've been advised would make a great improvement, such as giving shape to unruly hair or adding a little color lift and subtle highlights to a boring color, go for it.

If it's too great of a change, it may make you feel self-conscious -- not something you want on your wedding day.

On the other hand, if you know it will improve your appearance and you're sure it will make you feel better, why wait? You want to look your best for your wedding pictures. The sooner you get it done, the better, so that you have a little time to experiment and get comfortable with it before the big day.

Good luck!

Not an expert but how soon is the wedding? How dramatic is the change? Is it just a simple trim, r a dye job, are r we talking like when people u know c u they ask who are u? If its like 2 months r less than u may want to wait. If its a style u have not done before and not sure how its going to look I'd wait. If u have 3 months r more than if u do it and don't like it u can get to your original style or something close to it. Before u do anything talk to the person who does your hair . Maybe try it out like get a wig. Things have change now and they have something in all shapes, cuts, colors and very affordable. Try something simple as a great trim and if its only a hair style u can wash it out. If its a color, try a temp job or some spray in highlights so its still u and still something u can love for your wedding and after.

If your hair style is very old fashioned I'd say change it. Make sure you go to someone who really looks at your face shape and color to make sure you get the style that is most compatible to your face shape, age, weight and height. However it is thought that if you have a nice hair style already, and just want to change it because you're getting married, it is best to wait until after the Wedding. Never do something too extreme right before the Wedding. I just got married last Oct. and I know the frustrations and all the questions right before the wedding can get very overwhelming. Try to remember to take time to relax and take one day at as time. It will all work out. You'll be with the love of your life and that's what counts! Blessing on you and your groom to be!

If you go to the same stylist every single time you get your hair cut and he/she is WONDERFUL, cut away! But if you are even asking this question, it's best you wait until AFTER the wedding. Because if you're hair cut turns out like something Edward Scissorhands did, you'll be stressed out even more; refuse to have your picture taken (which you WILL regret); and possibly ask to move the wedding to next year, after your hair has grown out. NOT A GOOD IDEA!!

I would definatly wait till after the wedding! You can always do something with the hair style you're used to but if you get your hair done and hate it then your up the creek without a paddle on your special day!

if the wedding is within the next 2 or 3 months, then definatly wait. if it's more that 3 months away, go ahead and change it. if it turns out you don't like the style that much, you can always grow it out.

I wouldnt recommend doing anything new before the wedding unless you have plenty of time to fix it. Especially if changing your hair style means cutting you hair. Best of luck on that special day.

Do what YOU want to do. I went 3 weeks before my wedding and had 6" cut off without telling anyone. If my hubby didn't like it as much, he never said so. But it made me happy and that's what mattered. Just make sure you go to a good hairdresser. This is not the time to skimp out.

Definitely check with your fiance before changing your hairstyle. My husband loved my long hair and I wore it up at the wedding. I didn't know he wanted me to wear it down. We've been married 10 years and he still loves long hair!

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. I actually have short hair and guys such as it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a person with long hair because long tresses tends to make guys look too girly.
