Hey i have a little past the sholder dirty blond hair and its straight. most of the time i wear it in ponytail or a little flip thing were i pull it into a pony tail but leave some looped under it. Do you have any suggestions? Needs to be appropriete for school. i will not curl it.

Well like i said i have stopped using the flat iron everyday. I took a shower about an hr ago and am currently air drying. But when i tough it for maybe 3 seconds, hair comes to my fingertips. How can this possibly be healthy for me to loose this EVERYDAY. It cant be, which is why i think my hair is falling out. I am almost leaning toward the fact that my excessive hairspraying (to the point where ppl can smell it 2 hrs later) and moussing that it can cause my hair damage. Ceramic straightening after massive conditioning any better???? Is my hair falling out?

i've tried volumizing products and they just don't work. volumizing shampoo makes it stick and crunch together. hairspray is just disastrous (probably because i am not very good with it). i've tried blow drying upside down and it just turns out extremely poofy. It makes me look like Hagrid from Harry potter for about 10 minutes and then it flattens again.

I actually want my individual strands to be thicker but i dont know if thats possible. Any suggestions?

with a straighner???? because whenever i straighten my hair it stays straight for at least 10min then it gets wavy and frizzy. Whats the secret???? what chemicals do you pple use .... please tell me.... dont tell me hair spray mouse and gel cuz that stuff does not work for me brand names please

I have major major split ends. I have dark thick coarse wavy/curly hair. Up until i was 16 i never took care of it, then discovered the flat iron and have used it ever since. But recently, for about 3 months, i am shedding horribly. I have stopped flat ironing it, and switched to washing and conditioning majorly and scrunching it with tresseme mousse and hairspray. But it seems to get worse, and i notice it mostly when i shower and comb it. I want to go back to flat ironing cuz i seem to be loosing less hair. I use Dove Therapy shampoo/conditioner and put in leave in conditioner too. I seriously have atleast 7 or 8 hairs come out each time i comb thru sections, or when i use the flat iron and mousse it. Seriously what do i do?

My Hair is curly, not cute curly... frizzy kinky ugly curly. I straighten it almost everyday, and I can never get the kind of cute waves I want without it frizzing completely... I don't want to use chemical relaxers or get anything done at the salon... is there anything you know of product wise that will settle the frizz and allow me to keep my hair curly?
