My mom is a hair dresser and she bleached my hair blonde for me ( my hair is naturally black). I didn't want it blonde though so i dyed brown over it and it turned out a nice dirty blonde. I liked it the first couple months but it eventually faded. All hair colors will fade no matter what it says at the front of the product's box.
I suggest you don't do blonde because if you want to dye it over with a different color it will never turn out right. I wanted to dye my hair a dark brown and it turned out lightbrown/greenish. and bleaching my hair also made it very dry. If you try to make your hair blonde with a just a blonde dye when your hair black, it will turn orange/copper. I've had a experience.

I know this girl that I used to be friends with and she had dark brown hair and she went blonde. But when she went blonde she looked like a barbie doll.

I have naturally black hair and i dyed it light blonde and i love it :-D
at first i kept put some hightlights in it then i started using regular extra light blonde hair color and to keep it nice and blonde i use shimmer lights shampoo and conditioner

my hair is natural black i have had it blonde fully didnt like it looked ill, had it red and brown look cool, had it plum and brown looked nice had it red plum and brown looked ice only thing is red never keeps well at the minute i have blonde on top and darkish brown underneath and i love it makes me feel good looks brill my kids love it this way

dont dye it! it looks fake, too many people are dying their hair blonde and it doesnt look good, especally if you hair is naturally black, you'll still have black roots.

i have dark hair its easyer to get some blond highlights it kind of breakes your hair off though

you should get a dirty blonde kind of look, blonde doesn't fit everyone
