I am in the process of redecorating my room. My advice to you is to start somewhere small, and slowly figure out what you want to do from there. I started out with a throw pillow that I really like that had polka dots on it. Then I figured out how I wanted to do my bed. From the colors that I chose for my bed to match the pillow, I figured out what color I wanted to paint my walls. And there should be an accent color too-one that is not on your bedding much, but is there. You should use that color for the color of a shelf or picture frame. It's your room...have fun with it!

Add fake flower arrangements and put a tapestry on the wall. Bed, bath, and beyond carries cool stuff.
